  I’ve evaluated ocs ng several times and would want to know if fusioninventory is an alternative to ocs or a supplement??

  Yes, FusionInventory is an alternative. You don’t need OCS server anymore to collect information in your GLPI server.

  The Ocsdeploy task is compatible with ocs deployment. We are also working on our own deployment solution which will be deeply integrated with GLPI. The first release is planned for october.

  Hi there,

  I need to put a proposal together to justify either the use of ocs or fusioninventory for taking computer inventory, but cant get documentation on fusioninventory for deployment and configuration.

  How do I please get these?

  One thing I am having difficulty with and finding details on is if I can install Fusion inventory as a separate server all-together without OCS or GLPI? To be frank I didn’t like the complexity of GLPI nor did I like how GLPI managed emails. Ideally i’d like ot integrate fusion inventory with a custom mod for osticket.
